Miva Order 1.15 User Manual 13 4 - Building Your Order Form Currency Symbol Enter the currency symbol. The default is ‘$’ for American dollars. Display Currency Symbol Select a radio button to display the currency symbol either before or after the
value amount. Thousands and Decimal Separators The default is set up for American display. A comma (,) is displayed for the
thousands separator a nd a period (.) is used for the decimal separator. To
change, edit by entering your preference. State/Sales Tax Miva Order calculates sales tax based on the state of the shipping address of the
customer. In addition, the states listed here are used to generate the drop-down
lists on the order form. If the tax rate for a state is set to 0%, then no tax will be
assessed for customers in that state. Otherwise the configured percentage of the
order total will be added to the order. Remove Code
To remove a particular state from your Miva Order table, simply click on the check
box to the left o f the state tax you wish to delete a nd click ‘Update. Caution: Removing the default value of “Outside US” will result in your user having to fill in both the “Ship to” and the “Bill to” side of the order form.
